Nah, I didn't drink like a fish.
I drank like an aged member of "The League Of Soul Crusaders". Which means that I didn't match a fish, but I did out-drink the average Skid Row wino.
Didn't enter Amoeba Records, but I did drive past it (twice). It's on the Southeast corner of Hollywood Blvd. and... I don't recall - Wilcox, or some other street in that area - and it's HUGE! Like half a block long. Maybe not as large as the old Tower Records on Sunset Blvd., but if not - from the outside, anyway - it appears to be the second largest record store I've ever seen. It might blow your mind and a $500. bill!

Looking forward to Amoeba...but I didn't even spend $500 in all of my Zia visits, so I may surprise you....
ReplyDeleteDISCDUDE ~
ReplyDeleteYou are undoubtedly correct. One Amoeba does not equal 6, or 8, or whatever number of Zias you visited. So... it might be bad, but it won't be $500. bad.
But then again, if we add in Soundsations Records on La Tijera in Westchester... Nah. Still not $500. bad.
