Oh, come on, man! Any Bozo can select the 15 music albums they would want with them for the remainder of their life on a desert island. And any shuckin' 'n' jivin', lowdown Know-Nuttin' can pick their Top Ten favorite songs! That's cake, dudes and dudettes.
But do you have what it takes? - Do you know enough about music to list the "SUPER 8 GREAT DEBUT MUSIC ALBUMS" of all time?
If you think you can hang with us Big Dogs when it comes to real music knowledge, then sign up today for DiscConnected's "Super 8 Great Debut Albums" blogfest taking place on February 28th.

Ah-Ha! Suddenly it ain't so easy, is it? Now you gotta do some serious thinkin'. Morris Albert's "Feelings" can't save you now!
Heck, my list is already compiled and waiting for February 28th. All I gotta do is copy and paste it.
Uhm... Wait a minute! What was Supertramp's first album called? - "Chicago I" ?
Hmmm... I'd better go check. (Maybe I'm not quite ready for the blogfest, but I've got time yet to think this thang out.)

“There's a sadness in the heart of things,” said the second Z-man. The first Z-man added, “It's life, and life only.” The Wizard warned, “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!” But then I dreamed the answer and I told it to them: “We have fallen asleep in God's embrace, having a nightmare that we are elsewhere.” So, now you understand what this Blog’s "stuffs" is all about.

ReplyDeleteYou serious? Or are you just yankin' my chain here?
Wait! A few more questions...
What was Supertramp's first album titled? Do you know? I think it was called either "Chicago I" or "Led Zeppelin II" but I'm not sure. A little help, please.
And... how come you look like a completely different person in every single photograph you've ever displayed? You pulling a prank on us and always using different pictures of your various friends or sumpin'?
I've seen about 6 or 7 pictures of you now but to this day, I have no idea what you really look like! I swear you're Chameleonwoman.

This one may be a toughie as I don't necessarily know what the debut album was in some cases. I'm going to have to look most of them up to make sure I've got debuts. But this should be fun. Hope we get at least a dozen or so participants.

BOID ~
ReplyDeleteWikipedia is a good source for checking the "debut" status of most bands and artists as the entry usually includes a chronological discography or at least a link to one.
I've already used that myself a couple of times.
